Lovett was formerly the Supervisor of Secondary Education, Curriculum and Instructional Services at Bay District Schools in Bay County Florida.  Previously, Lovett held various leadership roles in the district including Ninth Grade Lead Teacher, Senior Project Coordinator, and Lead Mentoring Teacher.  In addition, Lovett taught all levels of high school English in both Bay County and Orange County, Florida. 

Lovett’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida State University; completing studies abroad at Oxford University, Oxford, England; and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education from University of West Florida.
